Netball Explained
Netball is a ball sport that is played by two teams of seven players each. Games are played on a rectangular court with raised goal rings at each end.
The objective of the game is to score goals from within the defined area, by throwing a ball into a ring that is attached to the 3.05m (10 feet) high post.
Players in the game are assigned specific position, which defines their role within the team, while also restricting their movement to certain areas in the court. Players are required to understand the rules conditioned to their position and act accordingly; during general play a player with the ball can hold onto it for only three second before he finally shoots it for a goal or to pass it to another player. Regular netball training can be extremely helpful and change the way you think bout and consider the game.
